2021 began with lockdown again in Thailand. This year, however easier than last year in terms of teaching online, took a surprising turn on my mental health which lead to burning out.
I wrote down a list of things I did subconsciously to keep track of my mood throughout the day and keep my anxiety at bay. Often times, we run on 200% all the time, forgetting to take a moment for a breath. After a massive burnout where I couldn't do things I loved all week, I made a daily check-in plan for myself. I hope that this helps other teachers as well.
